Wildfire Rescues, Community Support & Craft Brews with Canines!

As summer begins to wind down, we’re reflecting on an incredibly heartwarming and busy August here at Pets Purpose Animal Shelter Society — filled with new furry faces, amazing community support, and plenty of tail wags!

Welcoming More Wildfire Rescue Pups

This month, we opened our arms to another round of Alberta wildfire rescue pups — Aspen, Timber, and Forest. These three sweethearts came to us in need of care, love, and safe homes.

    •    Aspen wasted no time finding her forever family and is already thriving in her new life!

    •    Forest followed shortly after and is now enjoying a home of his own too.

    •    Timber is still searching for his perfect match — he’s got so much love to give, and we know the right home is just around the corner!

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Timber might just be your guy. Reach out to meet him!

August was also an amazing month for donations! We’re incredibly thankful for the generosity shown by our local pet store partners:

Their support means the world to us and to the animals we care for. From supplies to smiles, they help make our work possible, and we’re so grateful to be partnered with such compassionate teams.

Pups & Pints – Round Two!

We wrapped up the month with our second “Pups & Pints” event at the always-welcoming 4th Meridian Brewing Co. The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and our adoptable pups loved mingling with all the friendly faces (and sniffing a few beers, too!).

Big thanks to 4th Meridian for being such an amazing host. There’s nothing better than good dogs, good people, and a cold craft beer.
