Winter and her siblings were saved from a -40 cold snap. After some time in her foster home and some very messy eating habits, it was realized that she is missing her tongue, which the vet feels was likely due to frost bite. Eating and drinking is quite a messy process, but she has adapted pretty well and our vet assured us that with some simple modifications, like washing her face after each meal, that she will have a great life!
Winter is flourishing in her foster home and is a real go getter. Nothing will stand in her way if she wants something. She plays hard and sleeps just as hard. She loves children, is learning to be gentle with cats and loves her Great Dane Mr. Mom and French Bulldog momma. Her best friend is a naked Sphynx kitten. She is doing amazing on her crate training. She would do best in a house where there is someone home most of the time. She is very very loving and is always there to greet you with her own special kisses and tail wags.
Winter will be ready for adoption after January 20th.
